The New law Courts in Caen, France was honoured twice : “Palamarès de l’Architecture et de l’Aménagement” and audience prize
At the end of January, the New Law Courts was awarded with the "Palamarès de l'Architecture et de l'Aménagement" in the category "Public Administration Building" and the audience award. The building in close cooperation with the Atelier Pierre Champenois. The jury highlighted in particular the
first floor circumferential glazing, which interrupts the vertical facade structure and protrudes far beyond the cubic structure, as well as the facades of fine concrete columns.
The award recognizes outstanding private and public contemporary architecture projects in the Calvados region, France.
The New Law Courts is on display till March 25 in the Architecture Pavilion in Caen, together with all the other winners of the “Palmarès de l'Architecture et de l'Aménagement”.
