This week, Arquitectura Viva has published a bilingual monograph in Spanish and English on Baumschlager Eberle Architekten. An introductory preface by editor Luis Fernández-Galiano is followed by a total of 16 projects described in detail, from the Residential Area Lohbach I in Innsbruck (1997-2000) to the Green Office ENJOY in Paris and the Modular Housing for Refugees in Berlin (both completed in 2018).
On 105 illustrated pages, this handsome magazine presents an interesting survey of projects realised by Baumschlager Eberle Architekten with a focus on European buildings. It also highlights change and continuity in dealing with the major typologies of architecture and urban design.
